Ma. Mercedes T. Rodrigo

I am Director of the Office of International Programs, and an associate professor of the Ateneo de Manila University.I teach in the Department of Information Systems and Computer Science. I am also a member of the Pittsburgh Science of Learning Center. My areas of specialization are educational technology, intelligent tutoring systems and affective computing.

I am currently studying students' behavior and affect when using intelligent tutors, educational games, and other learning software. My collaborators include Dr. Ryan Baker of Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Dr. Matthew Jadud of Allegheny College, and Dr. Sidney D'Mello, a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute of Intelligent Systems at The University of Memphis.
