CS 260: Computer Networks and Operating Systems
This is a lecture-based course that focuses on advanced topics in data communications and operating systems. The course is outlined against the ISO OSI model. Students will learn the fundamentals of designing, building and maintaining TCP/IP networks as well as building typical network-based applications while considering operating system issues. This course contains a number of hands-on laboratory activities focused on operating system and networking services such as web, routing and firewall services.
