• This course introduces general principles of the science of complexity, an emerging interdisciplinary field that seeks to explain how large numbers of relatively simple entities self organize themselves into a collective intelligent that creates patterns, uses information, adapt and learns. Techniques for modeling and simulation of complex systems will be discussed, which will include dynamical system from linear to nonlinear and chaotic dynamics, cellular automata, multi agent system and game theory

    The course is taught by DISCS Associate Professor Kardi Teknomo, PhD, who has had more than 15 years of experience with computer simulations.
